Dallas has an abundance of things to do. In fact, the big challenge is how much you can fit into one weekend. Now, that spring has sprung you’ll want to find yourself outdoors, especially during this sweet spot of the season, before the temps begin to rise and make things
Take a look at some of Dallas area destinations that fall on our family’s spring bucket list.
Sandy Amusement Park, Carollton
This place looks like it has it all. Carnival rides, mini golf, paddle boats on beautiful lake, swimming pool, picnic pavilions, the list goes on. It’s where nostalgia meets making new family memories.
Klyde Warren Park, Dallas
Our family never gets tired of this park. Open spaces, children’s park, food trucks and spray parks make for an awesome afternoon of kicking back with the fam.
Heard Museum, McKinney
If you want to connect with nature, this is the spot. This park features a wildlife sanctuary, butterfly garden, and fossils to name a few.
Coyote Drive-in, Lewisville and Fort Worth
This. is. my. childhood. I can recall soft drinks and boxes of candy dancing across the giant screens. My little brother and I in the front seat of the car so we had the best view while mom and dad
slept sat in the back. Since our visit to Coyote Drive-in’s Fort Worth location I’ve been a fan and the fact that their Lewisville location is even closer to home is a bonus. The difference now is that this drive-in comes with a playground, golf cart of goodies, food trucks and an explosive concessions stand with food and beverages for kids and adults. You can’t beat that.
